Lift High the Cross

What has our class been up to lately?

 

During math we have been practicing one to one correspondence. The children got to pick a number card and stamp animal footprints to match the number they picked. 

Look for the heart we painted at the Christmas Service on Thursday! 

The children have been exploring and learning about balance in the block area. They are also able to make more complex structures now! 

The children put strips of paper in order from smallest or largest (seriation) to make a Christmas tree. 

 At the sensory table we made "snow" by mixing baking soda and conditioner. 

The children have been making play dough creations during free choice time.

Craft Night

Thank you to all of the families who attended and brought food for the craft night! We had such a great time! Check out these K4 students hard at work creating graham cracker houses! 

On Saturday, Decemeber 14th join us for another day of Christmas fun! Christmas For Kids starts at 9:00 and ends with a hot dog lunch at noon! The children will decorate Christmas cookies, make Christmas crafts, and most importantly learn about the birth of their Savior! See you there and bring a friend! 

Potluck and Craft Night

You're Invited!

Friday, December 6th 

6:00-8:00 pm 

The evening will start with a potluck dinner and fellowship in the Preschool. The children will make some Christmas crafts with their parents in the K4 classroom. Then, end the evening by eating some desserts and checking out the Kindergarten classroom next door.
