Pajama Day!

To kick off Spirit Week we enjoyed Pajama Day! We enjoyed cheering on the other classes in the tricycle races! We raced against the Kindergarten and First Graders and we won!

Letter P

During journal time the children created a page about the letter P. First we made a big list of words that start with the letter P. Then each child got draw in their journal. When the picture was finished they wrote a label for their picture.

Artists

Last week in K4 we studied different kinds of art and artists.  First, we learned about Navajo sand art. We looked at different examples and then had a turn making our own sand art.

 We also read a book called "Dots! Dots! Dots! At the Museum." In the book we saw paintings from many different artists who all used dots to create art. We also talked about how the dots created a picture. Then we had a chance to create our own dot art.
